Macdonald Breakfast and Calories

Calories: how much calories do we each need in a day?

it all depends on your gender, age, activity level.
activity level:
light => e.g. indoor sales person, office worker (OL), housewife, or a day when u slack at home
moderate => e.g. teacher, outdoor sale person, nurse, student
heavy => construction worker, labourer, athlete

a general guideline below with reference from a book by Ministry of Health
(since my blog aim at women, so i shall only post about women)

age: 18 - < 30
activity level:
light ~ 2000 cal
moderate ~ 2100 cal
heavy ~ 2350 cal

age: 30 - < 60
activity level:
light ~ 2050
moderate ~ 2150
heavy ~ 2350

age: 60 and above
activity level:
light ~ 1800
moderate ~ 1900
heavy ~ 2100

*hime have a long list of food and their calories but wun be able to list everything here, so for a start, let's find alternative to eating at macdonald.. sth that i notice today~

btw, hime is between 18 - < 30, activity level moderate, so means 2100 cal allowed per day, but since hime is slimming down, hime should restrict to a 1800 cal daily allowance.

Macdonald Breakfast: [if you have no choice or have carvings]

Most of us would probably love "Big Breakfast", "Hotcake with Sausage" or "Sausage McMuffin with Egg".. However, which is the lowest calorie "filling" breakfast in macdonald?

EGG McMUFFIN!!!

Big Breakfast ~ 652 cal
Hotcakes with Sausage ~ 650 cal
Hotcakes ~ 580 cal
Sausage McMuffin with Egg ~ 481 cal
Sausage McMuffin ~ 402 cal
Egg McMuffin ~ 290 cal

*Note that Big Breakfast comes with hashbrown, while hotcake with sausage doesn't.

according to this data, i can conclude that the best that we should eat at macdonald if needed will be Egg McMuffin!! (T_T) [hime just ate big breakfast on saturday!!]

btw: Hashbrown has 130 cal...

so now you know what to choose to eat at mac?
